The GR-4 is designed to be extremely simple and compact, making it accessible to everyone. The 3D Ground Scan System enables the detection, measurement, and location of buried metal, magnetic objects, graves, chambers, and cavities, such as tunnels, underground. The specially designed Groundtech Portal – 3D Analysis software graphically displays magnetic (iron or steel) and non-magnetic (gold, silver, or copper) metals. Depending on the target size (diameter) and soil structure, depths of up to 15 meters* are accessible.

Groundtech GR-4 Dual Features

The GR-4 Dual model is equipped with an integrated Pulse Induction (PI) detection system, in addition to 3D ground scanning capabilities.

This technology delivers superior performance, especially in areas where traditional detectors struggle, such as highly mineralized soils, saline soils, and coastal areas. The PI system can detect targets deep underground without being affected by mineral density or soil composition. This allows for the detection of large mineral blocks, buried precious metals, or deep cavities with clearer and more stable signals.

Thanks to its modular design, the GR-4 Dual allows for easy conversion by mounting a PI search coil on the magnetic sensor mounting plate. This enables 3D ground scanning and professional PI searches using a single device. This feature provides users with two powerful technologies simultaneously, without the need to carry two separate devices. As a result, the GR-4 Dual provides a complete, standalone solution for multi-purpose fieldwork, deep searches, and challenging terrain conditions.
